HC Deb 28 July 1947 vol 441 c27 The following Question stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Sir WALDRON SMITHERS: 62. "To ask the hon. Member for Waltham-stow. West, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, how much Kitchen and Refreshment Rooms' equipment, such as knives and forks, is missing from the House of Commons for the two years ending July, 1947.
Mr. G. Wallace

Is it in Order, Mr. Speaker, for an hon. Member to raise a point of Order on a Question which has not been called?

Mr. Speaker

I am afraid not. If the Question has not been called, there-can be no point of Order.

Mr. Gallacher

In view of the wide importance of this Question, can we not have an answer to it?

Mr. Speaker

People differ in opinion about what is of wide importance.
