§ 43. Mr. Granville Sharpasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he proposes taking to prevent the employment of young persons in trades and occupations having an adverse effect on their welfare.
§ Mr. EdeThe matter is within the scope of the inquiry now being made by the Gowers Committee, as respects employments not covered by the Factories or Mines and Quarries Acts, and I shall give full weight to any recommendations they may make on this point.
