§ 14. General Sir George Jeffreysasked the Secretary of State for Air what is the position as regards the retention or otherwise of Blackbushe and Lasham 2185 aerodromes; whether Blackbushe aerodrome is now to be released; and if there is any necessity to retain Lasham which is situated on good agricultural land and from which very little flying is now done.
§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerThe aerodrome at Lasham is required by the R.A.F., and must, therefore, be retained. The aerodrome at Blackbushe is equipped with F.I.D.O., and will be used by civil aircraft for at least some years to come.
