Motion made, and Question proposed,
That a sum not exceeding £1,609,811, be granted to His Majesty to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1948, for the salaries and other expenses in the Department of His Majesty's Treasury and Subordinate Departments, including additional salary payable to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and the expenses of representation in India."[Note.—£865,000 has been voted on account.]
