HC Deb 02 July 1947 vol 439 cc1320-1
Mr. Eden

Could the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the House tell us whether there are any changes in Business for today and for Friday?

The Lord President of the Council (Mr. Herbert Morrison)

Yes, Sir. After the Debate on the Post Office, in Committee of Supply, today, we propose to ask the House to consider the Ways and Means Resolution relating to cinematograph films, and the Motion to approve the Purchase Tax (Exemptions) (No. 1) Order. It may be convenient if I inform the House that on Friday, after the Second Reading of the Crown Proceedings Bill [Lords], we hope that there will be time to take the Committee stage, and, if agreeable to the House, the remaining stages of the Foreign Marriage Bill [Lords].
