asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the present strength of the Y division of the Metropolitan Police Force; and the number of men engaged on traffic control in this division.

The strength of the Division is 564. Thirty-four men are engaged on traffic control, 32 as mobile patrols, and two on fixed point duty.
