48. Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the decision to leave India by the summer of 1948 and to evacuate our troops from Egypt in the near future, he will now give an indication of the plans being made to provide for an alternative military base in Kenya or the other East African dependencies.
