asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether 'he has any statement to make about ex-members of the Palestine Police Force receiving a free credit of unemployment insurance contributions; and whether he has yet approached the Palestine Government on this matter.

I have approached the Government of Palestine on this matter and am awaiting their views. I regret that I am not at present in a position to make a statement.
