§ 27. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that no accurate information is available in this country of the cost of delays to road traffic caused by the congestion on the streets of London and other large cities; and whether, as such information is essential in order to estimate the priority of the remedial work which should be undertaken and the amount which may be justifiably spent upon it, he will arrange for such investigation to be carried out at an early date.
