asked the Minister of Food what recent consultation he has had with Scottish Kippering Associations as to the supply of fish for the British public; and with what result.

As a result of recent discussions with the Scottish and other kippering associations, arrangements have been made for most of the Norwegian herrings which we are now importing to go to kipperers.
