asked the Minister of Health when he expects to publish the Report on Rural Housing from the Central Housing Advisory Committee.

Mr. Bevan

It is expected that the Report will be published towards the end of the month.

Mr. Amory

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the delay in bringing this forward is already leaving people in the countryside with the feeling that he does not mean business?

Mr. Bevan

The delay in making the report has had no effect at all on the position in the countryside, because, as the hon. Member knows, there is no possibility whatever of legislation this Session.
