asked the Minister of Health if he will take steps to ensure that county A.E. Cs. are consulted by the Boundary Commission, who are now considering the rearrangement of local government boundaries.

The Local Government (Boundary Commission) Regulations, 1945, leave entirely to the discretion of the Boundary Commission the question of the bodies with whom they will consult. I will, however, bring to the notice of the Commission the suggestion made by the hon. and gallant Member.
