HC Deb 11 February 1947 vol 433 c179
11. Mr. Osborne

asked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that nine farm-workers are employed as stokers at Ludford aerodrome, Lincolnshire, now used as a Polish Army camp, at £5 a week, whilst Poles are unemployed to the dissatisfaction of local agricultural workers; if he will see that these men are released for their work on the farm.

Mr. Ballenger

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 28th January last.

Mr. Osborne

May I ask the Minister if he is aware that the reply gave no satisfaction at all to the farm workers who are aggrieved in this matter?
