§ 4. Earl Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he is aware that in September last a German was permitted to enter a British Army building in Brunswick, entry to which is normally forbidden to Germans, on the production of a document signed by the hon. Member for Maldon (Mr. Driberg); and if this permission is authorised by any order or instructions issued by the Control Commission in British-occupied Germany.
§ Mr. MayhewThe answer to the first part of the Question is, "Yes, Sir," and to the second part, "No, Sir." I am satisfied, however, that in the circumstances the Control Commission official concerned behaved in a proper manner.
