§ 7. Mr. Bairdasked the Minister of Health, further to his answer of 7th August, with regard to the question of priority for the water needs of local authorities for housing purposes, what steps he has taken to obtain priority for the Gold-thorne Hill to Willenhall water scheme prepared by the Wolverhampton Water Undertaking, the completion of which is essential for housing development in Willenhall as agreed by him when he received a deputation on the matter on 10th July last.
§ The Minister of Health (Mr. Aneurin Bevan)Special steps have been taken to expedite the delivery of the cast iron pipes and other products required for the purpose of this scheme. It is expected that deliveries from the manufacturers will start before the end of the year.
