§ 33. Mr. Henry Whiteasked the Minister of National Insurance whether he has yet appointed the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council to consider and advise him on questions relating to the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act, 1946.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsI am glad to announce that the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council has now been appointed. Sir Wilfrid Garrett, late Chief Inspector of Factories, has been appointed Chairman of the Council, and there are 15 other members whose names I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT. The Council will consider and advise me on the regulations proposed to be made under the Act, and any other questions relating to the Act which I may, from time to time, refer to them.
