asked the Attorney-General what action the Government are contemplating taking in the near future in connection with the recommendations of the Monckton Report, published in 1946.

A Bill to deal with the recommendations of the Monckton Committee is in course of preparation, and it is hoped to introduce it early next Session, in time to be passed before the National Insurance Acts are brought into operation.
