§ 38. Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Postmaster-General if he will now state when it is intended to begin the work of laying the cable and providing Scarp Island with telephone and telegraph services.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingIt is hoped to lay the cable to Scarp this month, and to provide telephone and telegraph service on the island by the end of September.
