asked the Minister of Works how many hotels, large houses, small houses and flats, respectively, in the London civil defence region are at present requisitioned by the Government; and how many of each category have been released for use as dwelling accommodation since 30th September, 1946.

Government Departments hold on requisition in the London civil defence region 40 hotels, 854 large houses, 409 small houses and 1,479 flats. The in- formation required by the second part of the Question is not immediately available but I will arrange for it to be circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT as soon as possible.
