HC Deb 30 October 1946 vol 428 c616
Mr. S. O. Davies (Merthyr)

May I ask for your indulgence, Mr. Speaker, to say a few words? In the OFFICIAL REPORT of Monday last, in Columns 360 and 361, the name of the hon. Member for Merthyr appears four times and he is thereby held responsible for four successive interjections while the hon. and learned Member for Carmarthen (Mr. Hopkin Morris) was addressing the House. The interjections were not made by the hon. Member for Merthyr, but by the hon. Member for Aberavon (Mr. Cove), and the hon. Member for Merthyr is particularly anxious to dissociate himself from the sentiments expressed by his hon. Friend the hon. Member for Aberavon.
