14. Dr. Santo Jeger

asked the Attorney-General if he is aware that Constable's Mill and the surrounding land and buildings at Flatford were bequeathed to the nation in 1937, and, in view of certain enclosures and limitations of public rights which have occurred there, what steps he is taking to preserve the public rights.

Inquiries are being made as to the circumstances and legal position with regard to the properties to which my hon. Friend refers. When these inquiries are completed I will communicate further with my hon. Friend.
