§ Mr. MathersDoes not my right hon. Friend realise the importance of putting retired teachers in this regard on the same basis as Members of Parliament who are paid quarterly but may have their emoluments paid monthly?
§ Mr. WestwoodI am willing to take that into consideration, but the Question, would mean a complete change in the arrangements. As I have pointed out, it would involve a great increase in staff and I am not prepared to do it at present.
§ Major PooleCan my right hon. Friend say what increase in staff would be justified to make out three cheques instead of one?
