Mr. Boyd Carpenterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been called to the observations of the Honourable Mr. Justice Vaisey in re 36, 38, 40 and 42, Jamaica Street, Stepney; and whether, in view of the learned judge's statement that amending legislation would be necessary in order to correct previous wrong decisions of the War Damage Commission, it is the intention of the Government to introduce that legislation at an early date.
