Resolved: That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to confer powers, and impose duties and restrictions, in relation to gold, currency, payments, securities, debts and the import, export, transfer and settlement of property, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a)the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred under or by virtue of the said Act by any Government Department; and
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer—
    1. (i) of any sums received under or by virtue of the said Act by any Government Department; and
    2. 1542
    3. (ii) of such part as may be specified in the said Act of fines imposed on the summary conviction of offenders against the said Act."—(King's Recommendation signified.)—[Mr. Dalton.]
