HC Deb 21 November 1946 vol 430 cc1017-8
59. Mr. George Thomas

asked the Minister of Labour the names of the local authorities in the South Wales development area that are using trainee labour in the building of houses.

Mr. Isaacs

As the reply is somewhat long I will circulate the information in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. Thomas

Is the Minister satisfied that local authorities generally are taking on as many trainees as they ought to do in their building programmes?
