§ 7. Mr. Boyd-Carpenter
asked the Assistant Postmaster-General what representations have been made by his Department to the Canadian Government in respect of the rates of postage charged on parcels dispatched from Canada to the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Burke
My Department has suggested a modification of the present exceptional accounting arrangements between 827 the United Kingdom and Canadian Post Offices with a view to a possible reduction in the postage rates. I will let the hon. Member know the result in due course.
