§ 58. Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenportasked the Minister of Food the present average output of fish meal in this country and what arrangements are being made to make a greater proportion of this meal available for poultry food.
§ Mr. StracheyThe average monthly output of fish meal during the three months July September, 1946, was 4,100 tons. Commercial poultry keepers already receive 10 per cent. of their ration in protein coupons against which fish meal can be obtained. I am advised this percentage of animal protein for poultry is enough.
