§ Mr. BuchananA scheme has been prepared for providing roads in connection with afforestation plans, and the organisation necessary to run the scheme is in process of formation. It is not, at this stage, possible to state the number of men who can be recruited for this work, but subject to the availability of camps and road-making plant, the scheme will provide employment for several thousands of men.
