"to transfer functions of agricultural wages committees to the Agricultural Wages Board and to the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board; to make further provision as to the fixing, cancelling and varying of minimum rates of agricultural wages, as to learners employed in agriculture, and as to agricultural workers disabled from earning the minimum rate of wages; to remove restrictions on the holidays which may be granted to agricultural workers under the Holidays with Pay Act, 1938; to extend the definition of "agriculture" in the enactments relating to the regulation of agricultural wages; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid, "presented by Mr. Thomas Williams; supported by Mr. Westwood, Mr. Glenvil Hall, Mr. Thomas Fraser and Mr. Collick; to be read a Second time upon Monday next, and to be printed.
