§ Mr. MarquandThe value of the pottery imported from Japan in 1938 was £84,346. The weight was approximately 1,000 tons.
§ Dr. StrossIs the Minister aware that the pottery industry in Britain have had to face some very unfair forms of competition inasmuch as we have had an imitation of our patterns, designs, and the names of our manufacturers, and will he take steps in future to see that we have further protection in this respect?
§ Mr. MarquandYes, Sir. The whole question of the possibility of unfair competition is now receiving very careful attention.
