HC Deb 20 May 1946 vol 423 cc33-4
76. Mr. Hurd

asked the Minister of Agriculture how many ex-Servicemen have been accepted for farm training under the Government scheme; and how many have started training.

Mr. T. Williams

Up to 30th April this year 1,918 ex-Servicemen and women had been accepted for farm training under the Government's Vocational Training Scheme, and r,800 had started training.

Mr. Hurd

Mr. Williams

Colonel Gomme-Duncan
