Resolved:
That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session relating to finance it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of annual allowances by way of compensation to any persons employed as assessors for the purposes of income tax and land tax immediately before the passing of the said Act whose appointments are terminated by that Act."—[King's Recommendation signified.]—[Mr. Glenvil Hall.]
