Mr. Baldwinasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether experiments have been made in any colony with two-wheeled tractors with which ploughing might be carried out, either on a communal basis, or by native contractors working for a group of farmers; and if not, whether the possibility will be examined.
§ Mr. georģe HallTractors, of which some are two wheeled, are being used for ploughing in a number of Colonial territories. Their employment in native agriculture is being encouraged where practicable.
