§ Mr. LawsonThe billeting of Germans On a limited scale was authorised in November, 1945. The experiment has proved a success. Five thousand, four hundred and sixty - three Germans and 9,155 Italians are at present billeted on farms. The application of the scheme on a wider scale is being considered.
