HC Deb 25 March 1946 vol 421 c21
48. Mr. Warbey

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will propose to the Control Commission for Austria that Austria should now have the right to pass her own laws without first submitting them for the approval of the Commission.

Mr. J. Hynd

British proposals have already been tabled for modifying the existing control over Austrian legislation.

Mr. Warbey

While I thank my hon. Friend for his reply, may I ask whether he will take steps to see that publicity is given to the widespread feeling in this House and in the country that the tutelage to which the hon. Gentleman referred is reduced as speedily and rapidly as possible?
