§ 69. Mr. Dumpletonasked the Minister of Health if he will now permit the limit of £1,200 for new houses to be calculated so as to exclude the cost of road charges.
§ Mr. BevanThe maximum of £1,200 applies to the selling price of the house, including land and after allowing for the cost of road charges if they are to fall on the purchaser. I am not prepared to in crease the authorised maximum for the purpose suggested.
