§ 34. Lieut.-Colonel Mackesonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if the arrangements for ceasing to collect war damage contributions are the same in the Colonies as in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Creech JonesThe only Colony in which war damage contributions are now payable is Malta. Under the Malta War Damage Ordinance, 1943, contributions are payable by 10 half-yearly instalments, the first of which became due in 1943, the last becoming due in 1947.
