asked the Minister of Labour the number of people registered as unemployed in Black pool on 14th January, 1946; and what was the number on 13th August, 1945.

At 14th January, 1946, the number of unemployed insured persons suitable for ordinary employment on the the register of the Blackpool Employment Exchange was 517. The corresponding figure for 16th July, 1945, the nearest date to 13th August for which figures are available, was 107.
