asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how much food contributed by this country to the Berlin food pool has failed to reach its destination; and if he will state the reasons for such failure.

All this food has reached its destination except for very small quantities pilfered in transit.

Does the hon. Gentleman repudiate the suggestion published in the Socialist paper "Forward ", that 11 trainloads of valuable foodstuffs have disappeared on their way through the Russian Zone in Berlin?
