HC Deb 05 March 1946 vol 420 c164
37. Mr. Willis

asked the Minister of Labour the suggested location of the special factories for the severely disabled to be established in Scotland.

Mr. Isaacs

The Disabled Persons Employment Corporation proposes to open the first Scottish factories for severely disabled persons at Cowdenbeath, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow (two) and Mother-well. The completion of these factories will depend on the availability of suitable sites, labour and material.
