§ Mr. IsaacsThe approved intake into the Armed Forces from 1st January to 30th June, 1946, is 151,500; this total includes volunteers and men called up under the National Service Acts. I am not yet in a position to announce the numbers to be recruited for the Forces in the second half of 1946.
