Lords Amendment: In page 16, line 6, at end, insert, ".Bideford Bridge and Barnstaple Bridge."

The Minister of War Transport (Mr. Barnes)

I beg to move, "That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment." The House will recollect that when this Bill was going through Committee certain Members raised a point with regard to these rather historical bridges. We were then unable to meet them, because certain financial assurances were necessary, but arrangements were latex made to insert this Amendment in another place, and I now ask the House to give it their approval.
