HC Deb 05 June 1946 vol 423 cc1980-1
21. Mr. Emrys Hughes

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation whether arrangements have now been made for conveying trans-Atlantic passengers between London and Prestwick.

Mr. Ivor Thomas

Yes, Sir. Arrangements have now been made for the air service between Glasgow and London to call at Prestwick five times a week in each direction. I should add that this is in addition to the R.A.F. Transport Command service already operating between Prestwick and Blackbushe.
