§ 33. Mr. Palmerasked the Minister of Labour if he is satisfied that the check kept by his officers does ensure that the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act, 1944, are being operated.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsMy right hon. Friend has every reason to think that employers generally are carrying out their obligations under this Act with good will, and he has not so far thought it necessary to institute regular inspections.
§ Mr. PalmerWill my hon. Friend see that such inspections are carried out if I send him evidence of the avoidance of this Act?
§ Mr. EdwardsIf we can have details of any such cases we shall certainly look into them, and we have ample power to deal with them.
