asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will make a statement on the conditions existing in the camps at Sennelager.

As already announced, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War has called for a report on past conditions in this and similar camps. I hope that the improvements that have been made in ration scales, medical facilities and welfare arrangements generally will soon show good results.
