Mr. Sydney Silvermanasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster why the motor car belonging to the Central Committee of Displaced Persons at Belsen has been taken from them without com pensation; to which Germans and for what 1610 purpose it has been presented; and whether he will remit the sentence of six months' imprisonment passed upon Mr. Rorendorn, President of the Jewish Committee at Neustadt Displaced Persons Camp and a member of the central committee, for his alleged refusal to obey in order to hand over the motor car, of which he was not the owner and of which he had no authority to dispose.
