asked the Minister of Labour whether men who have served several years in the Merchant Navy and have been discharged as surplus to requirements and accepted for examination by a selection committee for training under the ex-Servicemen's training scheme, are liable to recall for military service; and, if so, what is the age and amount of service which obviate such a recall to the Armed Forces of the country.
