HC Deb 25 July 1946 vol 426 cc198-9
23. Mr. Keeling

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how soon he expects to receive the Report of the Curtis Committee about the care of children deprived of normal home life.

Mr. Ede

I understand that the committee, which has spared no pains to complete as speedily as possible the wide inquiry entrusted to it, has reached the final stages in the preparation of its report and hopes to present it in a few weeks time.
