HC Deb 24 July 1946 vol 426 c13
15. Air-Commodore Harvey

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air how many service greatcoats have been issued to A.T.C. cadets.

Mr. de Freitas

There is nothing I can add to the reply which I gave on 10th July to the hon. Member for Newark (Mr. S. Shephard).

Air-Commodore Harvey

Will the Under-Secretary give an assurance that these boys will be equipped with greatcoats for the coming winter? In view of demobilisation, there must be a great surplus of clothing. Will he look into this matter again?

Mr. de Freitas

I will certainly look into the matter again, but I can assure the hon. and gallant Member that the A.T.C. will be as well equipped as any other Service cadet corps.
