HC Deb 16 July 1946 vol 425 c1056
81. Mr. Hoy

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if any decision has been reached regarding the future of H.M.S. "Lochinvar," Granton, Edinburgh; and if he has any statement to make.

The Joint Under-Secretary of State for Scotland (Mr. Buchanan)

Yes, Sir. Two-thirds of this camp have been made available to the Corporation of Edinburgh for housing homeless families and the first 30 of about 100 families are already in occupation. The remainder is to be used by the Ministry of Labour for the accommodation of building trade trainees.
